This is one occasion that I don't enjoy the rhyming style of translation, and I have quibbles with the use of fairy, even if it's spelt faerie, as a translation of 仙。 But I'll leave that for another day, as it's good to read a poem about Yuzhen, who was such an interesting figure.

Many of the classical Chinese poems I have read give me a similar feeling to those paintings of mountains surrounded by mist. Nice to have a lighter poem for a change - I think your translation underscores this. As always, your notes are great.
